Egyptian Maus are exhibited at GCCF cat shows throughout the year, where they compete for challenge certificates and awards on their way to Champion and Grand Champion status. The Egyptian Mau Club supports members who show their cats and celebrates the breed’s successes in the show ring.
The Egyptian Mau Club Show
Each year the club supports a show for the breed, giving owners, breeders and enthusiasts the chance to meet, exhibit their Maus and admire the breed together. Details of our next show — the date, the venue and how to enter — will be published here as soon as they are settled, and members are told first.
Showing your Egyptian Mau
The Egyptian Mau holds full GCCF Championship status, so cats of merit can gain the highest titles. If you are new to showing, the GCCF website explains how shows work and how to enter, and our committee are always happy to help members take their first steps in the show ring.
